The trial
Thirty days of actual use, fully featured, no card, no account. Afterwards the writing stays free, and printing and the publication outputs ask for a licence. The details are on the specification page.
What you get
A signed licence file, verified on your machine and nowhere else. Perpetual. Three computers per person, any mix of Windows, Linux and macOS, phones and tablets on top. A year of updates; a later major version is a new purchase you may decline.
Refunds and replacements
Fourteen days from purchase, your money back, no reason required. Before that, thirty days of actual use cost nothing, so whether SkyeWriter does the job is meant to be settled before you pay anything.
This applies to purchases made through the checkout on this site. Seats bought under a written agreement are invoiced and final; the institutions page carries those terms.
A replacement key costs 25 % of the licence price and is waived when you can show what happened; with three computers on one licence, a lost one rarely stops the work.
For buyers in the European Union
Sales are handled through Payhip. Value added tax is collected at checkout and remitted through Payhip’s own registration, so the euro price you are shown, VAT included, is the price you pay.
Right of withdrawal
Consumers in the European Union have a statutory right to withdraw within fourteen days. Because a download is delivered at once, you are asked to consent to delivery beginning immediately, and giving that consent ends the statutory right. Our own fourteen-day refund applies either way, so the consent costs you nothing.
Institutions and schools
Perpetual seats, a yearly Assurance layer, evaluation copies against a signed declaration: the institutions page carries the terms. A homeschool price is being decided and is not yet published.
